“Y/N!!! HURRY UP OR I'M NOT BRINGING YOU WITH ME TO THE MATCH” Your brother Sakusa says yelling from the foot of the stairs.

You grabbed your belongings and made your way down the stairs. He hands you hand sanitizer before opening the car door

“Sanitize yourself before you sit next to me.” You rolled your eyes at his response and opened the cap of the bottle.

Yes, being related to a player on one of the elite teams of a division means a lot of practice games,national matches, going to prefectures, and training camps. However, your brother never allows you to go, which never made sense to you. Which meant going to a match for the first time and seeing your brother play with his teammates upfront made you excited.

It wasn't long until you both reached the gymnasium where the practice match was being held. You stepped out of the car to help your brother carry his bags out. As you guys entered the gym you dropped his stuff down near the entrance.

“Y/n, you can go wait up there for the match to start” He says gesturing to the stairs leading up to the balcony. You nodded and started making your way up.

5:30

A couple of minutes have passed by and you started hearing footsteps coming towards the gym. You quickly got up and looked over the railing. Your eyes met with a tall guy with dark blonde hair at the bottom of the gym.

He’s probably from the other team.

His head shot up directly looking at the balcony which made you slightly jump. He seemed like he was about to say something until he was interrupted by the rest of team members walking in.

“TSUMU!! YOU’RE ALREADY HERE” An energetic guy said walking towards him. “Hi Bokuto” the other guy answered. Following him was your brother.

“ Y/n are you okay?” He asks while gesturing you to come down. The two boys next to him continuously looked at your brother and back at you as you came back down.

“YOU HAVE A SISTER!!” The two of them yelled in unison as you stood next to your brother.

“Nice to meet you im Y/n” You greeted yourself while laughing at their reaction.

“YOUR SISTERS HOT!” Bokuto says walking up to you to shake your hand. You looked at him dumbfounded with his response. As you make your way to say hi to the blonde he stares at you before shaking your hand. You greeted everyone on the team and got to know them before the match started.

“LETS GO!! WARMUP!!” You hear the coach yell to the teams.

You backed away enough to feel your back hit against the gym wall. It didn't take long for the practice game to start. You watch as your brother is serving first.

Your eyes widened as his hand flew back and slammed it to the other side of the court scoring a service point. You watched as the rest of the team members cheered for your brother.

6:00pm

The game has gone on for a while and now it's the middle of the second set. It was Atsumu’s turn to serve when a crowd of girls gathered around the gym. You couldn't help but overhear the conversation each girl was having behind you.

“KILL THE SERVE TSUMU!!!”

“I TOLD YOU HE WAS GOING TO BE HERE”

“YOU GOT THIS!!!”

The abnormal amount of screaming seemed to annoy you. Your head turned to look behind you which caused you to make eye contact with one of the fangirls. You gave them an annoyance expression which you thought would stop them but the girls scoffed and rolled their eyes.

Atsumu turned to the group of females and smiled at them before putting his hand up and slamming it down with a fist. The crowd immediately became quiet.

“why is he so popular?” You thought to yourself as you watched the guy about to serve and control the crowd.

6:30

It wasn't long for the match to end and for MSBY to win. You walked towards saksua to hand him his water bottle and bag.

“Y/n, wait for me outside ok?” You nod at him and make your way towards the gate.

You leaned against the brick wall near the gate as you watch the sun go down and the sky turn to cotton candy.

“buzz”

Your hand reached to your back pocket to grab your phone. You placed your finger on the home button to answer a message from Sakusa.

“Hey sis, i'm going to help clean up this nasty gym it will take a while, will you be okay?”

“Yeah omi its okay”

“okay, i'll get going now”

As you turned off your phone you overheard a female voice talking in the distance. You walk closer to see who it is and your eyes met with a very slim girl with long hair against the wall talking to a guy that seems similar to Atsumu.

The girl looked at him with an angry expression on her face but it didn't phase him. He scoffed at her which seemed to anger her even more. You look away trying to mind your own business.

“YOU’RE SO HEARTLESS!!” The woman's voice made you jump as it echoed through the air as she shoves him away. As she walked away he sighed and started making his way towards your direction. You looked away still at the entrance as it seemed like Sakusa was done. As the guy got closer to you he looked at you with a confused expression.

You pretended to not notice but he didn't buy it. He stood in front of you which caught your attention. Your head tilted up for your eyes to meet his. Your eyebrow lifted as he stared at you.

“Be my girlfriend.”

“Im sorry but I don’t want to give you sympathy from your unnatural breakup”

As those words left his mouth you couldn’t help but think he was delusional. You thought about how that girl yelled at him and now he's directly confessing without a first date.

But, before you open your mouth to answer him your brother comes up behind him with a stern expression.

“Tsumu did you say something?.”

He gave him a forced smile before gesturing to you to start walking to the car.

A couple of weeks have passed since you randomly received a text from an unknown number which turned out to be Atsumu. He would continuously ask you to keep him company and be his friend. Soon enough you gave up on ignoring him and accepted.

You have gotten used to his playful flirting and dramatic self but you were never content with the fact that he wasn't showing his true self.

As you were doing your work and laying down you heard your phone ding. You looked at the name and rolled your eyes before opening the message.

“Y/N!!!”

“Yeah Tsumu?”

“HANG OUT WITH ME IM BORED :(( i’m at the nearby volleyball gym“

“i'm working”

“But I wanna see your beautiful ass 😫

“You’re disgusting 🤩😚🥰”

“See you there”

You Turned off your phone and got yourself ready to leave. Before you left you heard Sakusa call your name.

“Where are you going y/n?” He said questioning your sudden want to leave the house. You gave him a guilty expression before dashing out the door.

5:45

It didn't take long for you to arrive at the nearby volleyball court. You knocked on the door of the gym which made him turn his head towards you. He dropped the ball before running your direction. You smiled at him and walked in the gym.

Atsumu grabbed the volleyball and gestured the ball towards you. You gave him a confused expression before he placed the ball in your palms.

“I’m going to teach you how to play volleyball,” He says smiling. Atsumu moved behind you and grabbed your hand moving it up. He took your other hand that was holding the ball and positioned it straight. Your head turned to look at him only to notice that your face was merely inches apart. He looked back at you still giving you that smile he always puts on. You roll your eyes at him before flicking his forehead.

“My brother is a volleyball player, you really don’t think I can serve?” You gave him a stern stare which made him back away.

“Go ahead, serve.” He said while gesturing his hand for you to start.

You threw the ball in the air before hitting it with your palm.

It barely made it over the net.

Your eyes continuously started to blink as you heard Atsumu laughing it off in the back.

“AND YOU WERE SO COCKY ABOUT IT!! WHAT A PROFESSIONAL” You glared at him before dropping the ball and making your way towards the door.

“You act like i'm the fake one here ” You picked up your bag near the door and made your way out. He stares at you confused as he watches you walk out.

Atsumu decides to shake it off and follow you. As you walked towards the closest ice cream stand you felt someone bump your side. You look next to you to see Atsumu standing right in front of your eyes.

Your eyes averted and looked the other way pretending he was not there as you grabbed your ice cream from the cashier. As you were about to leave the stand, Atsumu stopped you in your tracks. He stares you down before moving his body closer to you.

Your body froze as you were confused about what his intentions were. Before you knew it the top of your ice cream was bitten off. You look at your ice cream and back at him before rushing your way towards the sidewalk.

7:30

You have been walking around for awhile before stopping at a park. As you turned behind you, his eyes met with your confused expression.

You ignored it and sat on the swings and he followed

“Tsumu..I have a question,” You said, turning towards his direction. He tilts his head to the side, gesturing for you to go on.

“Why did you ask to be friends with me?”

His expression changed as soon those words left your mouth. He sighed and turned his head to look at the ground.

“It's because..I like you Y/n”

You looked at him dumbfounded but his response didn’t surprise you.

“I told you Tsumu..I don't want to deal with your daddy issues and everything seems fake.” You played with the sand beneath you with your feet before you heard him speak.

“Honestly..I don't know my real self either around you..” He looked at you with a soft expression before watching him stand up. Your head stayed low until you heard his footsteps distancing away.

“I'm sorry..” you heard the footsteps stop before standing up in front of him. Your hands fidgeted behind your back as you looked up at his tall figure.

“Drop your pride and be your ordinary… and maybe i’ll give you a FUCKING C-CHANCE??!!” As those last words escaped your lips his eyes widened in shock of your response.

“I PROMISE!!” He yelled all his emotions out before gesturing his pinky towards you. A small smile was placed on your face before locking your pinky with his.

Months have passed since that night you guys promised to keep things real. Frankly, he kept it. But, you began to notice that his flirty self was his actual personality. Not surprising how that trait wasn't a lie.

However, the sweet gestures and sudden meetups at the library and the local cafe did surprise you. Though rumors have been still going around about false flings and playboy action caused by him but, none of this made you second think about that cinnamon roll.

12:30pm

It was the afternoon when you asked him to help you study in the library. It came to a surprise to you when you realized that he was the top student in his major.

As you arrived at the library your eyes wandered to find Atsumu. It didn't take you long for you to notice him sitting down near the window while biting on the end of his pen. You made your way towards him and settled down in a seat next to his.

“Hi cinnamon roll~”

Atsumu turned towards your direction greeting you with a smile.

“Get your textbooks out dumbass”

You groaned before reaching in your bag. As your hand moves around trying to find your heavy books you realized that it wasn’t there. You turn to Atsumu nervously laughing.

“When bitches ask for help but don't bring their books…that's you...your bitches” He got up and stared at you. Your eyes glanced at him and finally got the hint to follow him. The two of you walked towards the back of the library.

“Go find what you need here” He backed away and sat down on the floor with his back against the wall. You gathered the two books you needed but ended up needing one on the top shelf. As you got on your toes to reach you thought you finally grabbed it but you felt the book suddenly drop. You looked down at atsumu who had an angry expression on his face as well as a book on the top of his head.

You knelt down to face him and gave him a small smile.

“Im sorry Tsumu haha”

You leaned your body closer to his to grab the book which made him flinch. Atsumu realized the position you two were in and shot his body up standing straight.

You looked at him confused as his face turned bright red. A sigh left his lips as he was about to say something.

“I hate this…”

Suddenly, his body started moving closer to you. Your eyes closed as you felt his lips press against yours.

Your eyes look at him turning away from embarrassment.

“Im crazy in love with you..”

When you heard him say those words you felt the heat rush to your face. You were about to respond until you heard footsteps come near you guys. The two of you turned to see a very confused Sakusa.

“If you're gonna bang my sister, sanitize your dick.” Your brother sighed and walked away. You look at Atsumu before the two of you begin laughing.

“I love you too...cinnamon roll”
